Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy
The Menuhin Festival Gstaad is the most important annual event in the Gstaad-Saanenland region. Between July and September 25,000 music lovers attend the 60 concerts held in the picturesque churches and the large Festival Tent in Gstaad.
While the Festival is in progress talented young musicians come to the Saanenland from all over the world to perfect their technique and gain inspiration from Cecilia Bartoli, Andras Schiff, Maurice Steger and Neeme Järvi. In 2016 the Festival will celebrate its 60th anniversary. Kultur Engagement with Hans-Ueli Tschanz (head of fundraising, member of the board) and Marlène Tschanz (manager, sponsoring & events) is exclusively responsible for fundraising & development.
